I fill the pan and place it in the oven, allowing the dirt to effortlessly detach from the walls and the rack

Cleaning an oven can often feel like a daunting task, especially when faced with stubborn grease stains and baked-on food. However, restoring your oven to its pristine state is effortlessly achievable with a simple yet effective household method. This trick requires only a pan, water, and white vinegar.

Steam Cleaning with Water and Vinegar: This eco-friendly technique avoids the use of harmful chemicals and relies on a heat-resistant saucepan. Fill the pan with hot water, add half a glass of white vinegar, and a splash of lemon juice for odor absorption.

Place the saucepan on the middle rack of your oven and heat it to 250 degrees Celsius. Allow the steam, combined with the vinegar and lemon juice, to work for 30 minutes. After turning off the oven and letting it cool, the loosened dirt becomes easier to wipe away with a damp cloth.

It's essential to use pans made of suitable materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, or ceramic, as glass, porcelain, or plastic may not withstand the high heat.

Baking Soda and Vinegar Method: For an alternative approach, harness the cleaning power of baking soda and white vinegar. These common household items are effective and safe for cleaning.

What you'll need:

A damp cloth, baking soda, white vinegar, water, a spray bottle, a plastic spatula, and rubber gloves are all you need for an effective oven cleaning method.

Start by removing all removable parts from the oven. Create a paste by mixing half a glass of baking soda with water. With gloves on, apply this paste to the oven's interior, paying attention to greasy areas. Leave it overnight for optimal results.

The following day, use a damp cloth to wipe off the paste. For stubborn residues, employ a plastic spatula. Spray white vinegar on the walls, wait a few minutes, and then wipe off with a damp cloth. Repeat the process with a water and vinegar solution until the oven gleams. Replace the racks and any other removed items.

Regular oven cleaning is advisable to prevent the accumulation of hard-to-remove grease. With these methods, maintaining a clean oven becomes a much more manageable task.
